Our log home was built in l985 on property that we had owned for several years. Our dream was to someday have a log house surrounded by the many pine trees. We had the shell erected,
then started our work of completely doing the inside. Our family moved in one year later. After teaching first and second grade for 25 years, I retired with thoughts of establishing a small bed and breakfast. The joy of meeting a variety of people was, and is, very appealing to me. Bill has been retired for two years now. He was formerly a rural mail carrier. He still hasn't found the time to do all of the activities on his retirement list!
We look forward to making your stay with us your home away from home!
